My passion for design came early. When I was a kid, I was fascinated by the elegance of my race car toys and the distinctive style of military vehicles; I knew somehow designing them is what I’d want to do. I began designing cars, aircrafts, and spaceships since then, and have to credit my parents for always encouraging me to pursue my dreams. I studied Automotive Design and graduated with honors in 1981 from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, one of the top design schools in the world.

Over the years, I worked as a freelance designer for various companies including: Fujitsu, Guthy-Renker, CDI Torque Products (Snap-On Tools), ISX (US Robotics), Alpan Lighting Company, Bel-Air Lighting Corporation, Cadna Rubber Company, Falcon Foam Company, Valenzona Product Development, Biosonics Corporation, Bring It Up Lifts, and Winsor Pilates. Besides my industry experience, I've successfully sold my aviation and space art in art galleries of Laguna Beach, California.

 

Currently, I'm the senior designer at Aplan Lighting Company. My lighting product designs have been successful in sales in major retailers, including Costco, Target, Home Depot, Sam's Club, Walmart, Crate & Barrel, Menards, Restoration Hardware, BJ's Wholesale, Frontgate, and QVC, Kroger, NEX Navy Exchange, Bed Bath & Beyond, Price Smart.

I've always been the photographer of my family. In recent years, photography has given me even more joy. I'm at my best when walking in nature, capturing moments that will never repeat themselves again. I've done photo shoots for aspiring actors, athletes, make-up artists and hair stylists, product manufacturers, and more.
